FLAMENCO Phase III trial for stage IV metastatic colorectal cancer.
TRIAL DESIGN
FLAMENCO stands for First Line treAtment of patients with MEtastatic (N) COlorectal cancer. In this randomised, placebo-controlled trial, TroVax or placebo will be evaluated in combination with standard therapy. Standard therapy is chemotherapy with or without bevacizumab.
TRIAL OBJECTIVE
The primary endpoint will be overall survival.
PATIENT POPULATION
Approximately 1,300 patients to be recruited with Stage IV metastatic colorectal cancer. Further eligibility criteria will be posted here when available.
GET INVOLVED
Patient recruitment is expected to start in H1 2009, pending further review of the interim TRIST data and FDA agreement. More information will be posted here when available. This information will also be available on www.clinicaltrials.gov.
